Kepulauan Seribu (The Thousand Islands)
In Kepulauan Seribu (The Thousand Islands) itself, there are several famous spots for snorkeling, including; Sepa Island, Pari Island, and Semak Daun Island. If you live in Jakarta and its surroundings, Kepulauan Seribu (The Thousand Islands) can be an attractive option because they are close and easily accessible. Even going on weekends is enough.
How to get to Kepulauan Seribu (The Thousand Islands): tours to Kepulauan Seribu (The Thousand Islands) can be accessed from two ports in Jakarta, namely Muara Angke or Marina Ancol. The difference is, from Muara Angke you will take a ferry with a cheaper budget, if from Marina Ancol you will cross by speed boat which is certainly more pricey. Peucang Island

Peucang Island itself is the foremost island in the Ujung Kulon National Park so it is often a stopover place. Karimunjawa
The waters in Karimunjawa are very, very reliable for those who really want to 'play' in the sea! There are several snorkeling spots that tourists usually rely on, namely Menjangan Kecil Island, Cemara Kecil Island, Tengah Island, and Small Island. If you want a slightly different 'view', you can go to the shark sanctuary on Tengah Island. What is clear in Karimunjawa, even from the edge of the pier you can see coral reefs behind the clear water.
How to get to Karimunjawa: Generally the meeting points to Karimunjawa are Kartini Harbor, Jepara. From there, tourists can cross by speed boat or ferry. But, check the schedules of the two ships first so that your travel time is efficient because ships don't cross all the time. To make it even easier, just take a trip from a travel agent!
